The product was created using the improved technique of Nakaoka et al. (2013), Biogeosciences, 10, 6093-6106.
The data is provided as .csv files.
Please note that the related data of sea surface temperature, mixed layer depth, chlorophyll-a concentration and sea surface salinity are not included in the files.

Temporal Coverage

Long-term (2001-2014) mean monthly distributions from January to December

*The monthly distributions from Jan. 2001 to Dec. 2014 will be published in the near future.

Spatial Coverage

1 degree × 1 degree grid in the Pacific Ocean (45°S-65°N, 120°E-90°W)
